Description

CTB03 is small and cheap single board control system suitable for machine control where processing of small amount of signals is needed and where size of application program is less than 128 kB. Suitable terminal for this compact control system is small graphic terminal OP04.

CTB03 is based on ATMEL AVR processor with 128 kB FLASH program memory, 4 kB RAM and 4 kB EEPROM. System is also equipped with 2 kB nonvolatile fast FRAM memory and battery-backed realtime clock.

Communication with other devices can be realized by two communication lines RS232 and CAN bus. CAN bitrate is programmable up to 1 Mbit. Communication interfaces are without galvanic separation.

For measurement of analog signals the CTB03 contains 4 analog inputs with 10-bit resolution. Two analog inputs allows direct connecting of load cells, two others are suitable for measurement voltages between 05 V or 010 V. Input voltage range can be selected individually by jumpers.

System also contains 4 analog outputs with 10-bit resolution with output voltage range 010V.

Digital inputs accepts 24V signals. Digital outputs are equipped with transistor switches. Each output can be switched to COM terminal which is common for group of 8 outputs.

Embedded bootloader allows uploading software equipment directly through RS232 interface.

Software equipment

User application written in assembler or C language can be uploaded through JTAG or RS232 interface. For software development common development tools (AVRGCC, IAR) can be used. C library with routines for keypad and display is available.
